Just a short walk away is The Cove, a popular surf spot for beginners and first time surfers. There are vendors near by that rent out surfboards and offer surf lessons. The most popular beaches in Kihei are Kamaole Beach Park I, II and III. All three of these beaches have life guards on duty during certain hours and are perfect for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.
